Abstract
Vestibular neuritis is a discrete degenerative neuropath of the vestibular nerve trunks. The etiology for the loss of the vestibular function is postulated to be a viral neuritis. An awareness of this disorder as alilisease entity will minimize diagnostic and therap ~utic frustration on the part of the physician and provide a realistic prognosis for the patient.. We have exprienced 4 cases of vestibular neuritis and all of them were well responded to vestibular suppresant drugs.
